Any ideas?Īnyone know if Retropie Team is changing the Retroarch said in Retroarch and Joypad problems: We will deal with general problems in the FAQ. Today I am at the ame spot with same problems. It did work for me, but only for that day. To check if RetroArch is muted, go to Settings > Audio. You need to check your RetroArch program if its muted or the volume was set to 0. In top of that, Retroarch started to alternate his Retropie version with PC version (that beautiful glowing blue) and crashing constantly.Īfter a day dedicated to research, found this idea:įortunately, you can "restore the factory settings" with the file /opt/retropie/configs/SYSTEM/-dist. Check if the RetroArch is muted First of all, you might unknowingly muted the RetroArch while pressing random keys on your computer. Next morning, all joysticks and keyboard was working properly in Emulationstation, but in Retroarch and cores not so much, just the directionals. Download Neo-Geo ROM for MAME from Rom Hustler. I don't know if this is correlated but my problems started after trying to remap joystick to MSX Core (tried to play Metal Gear configuring Joystick + Controller in one place). PlayStation 3 users have not seen a working Neo-Geo Pocket emulator (libretro Core) since way back on v1. Im not sure if these games just dont work on PC Citra but oddly enough all 3 worked for me on Switch first Citra build in Retroarch, which is less. Have a great day.Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie websiteĬontroller used: 1 PlayStation 4 v2, 1 8bitdo sn30, 1 8bitdo zero Open the Retroarch Playtest and install the Core in Main Menu > Load Core > Install or Restore Core Find you way to the Core folder and select the Mednafen core that you download in the list and install. If y'all want any dreamcast ports or video discs done for you I do that loads and would love to give back to this community in some way. I really love the work and thanks a bunch hard working buds for making it. ![]() This isn't my first rodeo with retrobat actually, it's just the first time I've had an issue. Thanks again for having a read and I very much appreciate any help given to me. If this is covered someplace I simply missed it. I did read the FAQ and searched the forum before asking. If you have a better idea I would love that. I'm wondering, if no one has a ready solution, since I can get retroarch from libretro working maybe the best solution is to just change the retrobat ES config folder to point to that retroarch and the cores in it and simply delete the RB version of retroarch entirely? It seems like a lot of work but at the moment it's the only idea I've got. At the moment I have a fresh retrobat install. It's frustrating because I went through setting up what I consider the harder emulators first, stuff like xemu and demul and such but while trying to fix the retroarch issue I ended up deleting all of that. I should say I didn't do all of that at once. I have tried reinstalling VC redistributable, DirectX, graphics drivers, retrobat itself and copying over the from libretro retroarch into the retrobat emu folder, none of that made any changes at all. It's like I never clicked anything, even when I run as admin. When I run task manager it doesn't even pop up and then disappear. ![]() When trying to launch the exe in the retrobat emulators folder nothing happens at all. ES fades like ti's going to launch then nothing happens and ES comes right back. Works fine if I simply download retroarch on its own and launch it from its own folder but the version that comes with retrobat doesn't do anything. I can not launch retroarch from inside of retrobat or the retrobat folder. Also make sure youre running in full-screen for more accurate results (compositors can easily interfere with timing). I'm not sure what else I can say that the title doesn't cover. Howdy all and thank you for having a read.
